What are Bio Sculpture gel nails?
Bio Sculpture is a professional gel nail system used by nail technicians worldwide for over 30 years. It is formulated to strengthen and protect the natural nail, and is applied without harsh primers or dehydrators.
What is the difference between Bio Sculpture and Evo?
Both are soak off gel systems from the same brand. Bio Sculpture is the original gel system, while Evo is a gel polish with an extended colour range. Tracey recommends the right one for your nails and the look you want. Read the nail systems guide.
What happens at my first visit?
Tracey starts with a full nail analysis to check the condition of your nails, then recommends the right treatment. A first appointment takes from 1.5 hours.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nothing at all. Photos of nail styles or the look you want are always welcome.
How long do Bio Sculpture gel nails last?
A gel overlay typically lasts two to three weeks without chipping or lifting, depending on nail growth and aftercare.
Are Bio Sculpture gel nails safe?
Bio Sculpture and Evo are professional gel systems. They are applied without harsh primers and removed with a gentle soak off. If you have a concern about a nail or the skin around it, see your GP or pharmacist before booking.
Can I have gel nails if my nails are damaged?
Yes. Tracey checks your nails at the start of the appointment and recommends the right approach for weak, thin or damaged nails.
Do you do gel on toes?
Yes. Gel overlays on toes are £36, or hands and toes together are £65. A toes appointment takes from 1.5 hours.
How long does an appointment take?
Allow from 1.5 hours for a gel overlay on hands or toes. Removing gel done by another salon takes about an hour.
Can you remove gel done at another salon?
Yes. Soak off and treatment of another salon's work is from £15 and takes about an hour. It is removed gently, without aggressive filing.
What should I do between appointments?
Use cuticle oil and hand cream daily to keep your nails and skin healthy. Do not pick or peel gel off. Book a soak off instead.

Is there parking?
Yes, there is free on street parking near the studio on Spindleberry Avenue.
Do you see clients from outside Wellingborough?
Yes. Clients regularly travel from Rushden, Higham Ferrers, Irthlingborough, Finedon, Earls Barton, Wollaston and Kettering. The studio is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
